The Marine Training Corps (MTC) is open to Junior Cadets (9–12), Cadets (12-17), Junior Leaders: (18–21), and Volunteers (21+)! Whether you're looking for adventure, leadership opportunities, or a chance to give back to your community, MTC has something for everyone.

📅 Training Schedule:

Parade Evenings: Units train twice a week

Field Days & Weekend Camps: Hands-on, immersive training

Summer Camp: A week or two of unforgettable experiences

👥 Who Can Join?

Junior Cadets: Ages 9–12

Cadets: Ages 12–17

Junior Leaders: Ages 18–21

Volunteers: Ages 21+ (No experience needed – full training provided!)

Transfers Welcome: From other cadet organisations or Scouts

For our young people, joining the Marine Training Corps is more than just a hobby.

It’s where confidence is built.
Where discipline becomes habit.
And where young people discover what they’re really capable of.

From leadership and first aid, to navigation, STEM, and Duke of Edinburgh’s Award opportunities—cadets gain skills that stay with them for life.

But more importantly, they develop resilience, teamwork, and the confidence to step up when it matters.

Studies show cadets are more confident in public speaking and decision-making, with improved education and job prospects.
