Our open day event is today! 🎉
From 10:30am until 3pm The Crosby Community Hub will be open for you to come and find out more about Foresight's disability support services and volunteering opportunities.
Our open day will be packed full of taster sessions like table cricket, cooking, crafts and I.T. With refreshments available too! Discover more about day services, volunteering opportunities and our new housing development for disabled people - coming soon! If you're interested, why not pop down to the Crosby Community Hub and find out more about the support we can offer.

Foresight To Showcase Disability Support Services At Crosby Community Hub Open Day

People across North Lincolnshire are being invited to find out more about the support and activities available to disabled people at a special Open Day in Scunthorpe next month.

Foresight will be holding an Open Day at Crosby Community Hub on Thursday, October 1, with visitors invited to drop in and discover more about the services and opportunities available.

Organisers say there will be plenty of taster sessions taking place throughout the day, giving visitors the chance to try their hand at activities including:

🍳 Cooking
🎨 Crafts
💻 IT skills
🎵 Music

The event will provide an opportunity to find out more about the range of disability support services available, while also meeting the people involved with Foresight and discovering what takes place at the Crosby hub.

Foresight is a dedicated organisation committed to meeting the needs and requirements of disabled individuals, their families and carers across North and North East Lincolnshire.

Its mission is to provide a way forward for the disabled community, empowering individuals towards a new beginning, a brighter future and a more enjoyable life.

At its Crosby centre, a wide range of activities take place on a daily basis, from art classes and life-skills sessions to social activities and trips organised throughout the year.

The Open Day is designed to give people the chance to see the facilities for themselves and learn more about what Foresight has to offer.

There will also be information available about volunteering opportunities, providing people with the chance to find out how they could get involved and support the organisation.

Visitors will also be able to find out more about a new housing development for people with disabilities, which Foresight says is coming soon.

Organisers are encouraging anyone who is interested in the services, activities, volunteering opportunities or future housing development to come along and have a look around.

The Foresight Open Day takes place at Crosby Community Hub on Thursday, October 1.

We are holding an Open Day for the Crosby Community Hub. We will have plenty of taster sessions on - like cooking, crafts, I.T skills and music - so you can find out more about what disability support services we offer. The open day will be from 10:30am to 3pm.

We are part of a dedicated organisation committed to meeting the needs and requirements of disabled individuals, their families and carers in North and North East Lincolnshire. If you are in the Scunthorpe or surrounding area and are interested in disability day opportunities or volunteering opportunities then pop in to our open day.
We have plenty of taster sessions on like cooking, I.T, music, boccia and more! There will also be information available on Foresight's new housing development providing independent living for people with disabilities that is coming soon.
