Grange Farm Hobbies Centre

We wanted to share this fantastic video from one of the groups based at the Hobbies Centre.

The Scunthorpe Modern Image Railway Group has been carefully restoring a remarkable piece of historic Steelworks heritage over the last 13 months. Originally built in 1957, the layout was thought to have been lost for over 30 years before resurfacing in a heavily damaged condition. Through the group's dedication, skill and countless hours of work, the restoration is now nearing completion.

The layout will soon move to its new home at Clugston's new building, where we hope it can be enjoyed and appreciated by many people for years to come as an important piece of Scunthorpe's industrial history.

If you would like more information about the club, please contact Steve at [email protected].

📍 Grange Farm Hobbies Centre

Stop by to speak directly with your local councillors about any community matters or local concerns!

Thank you to the multiple local residents who came and saw us yesterday, at our Ashby Lakeside ward surgery! 👇

This was our first surgery at Morrisons Cafe, so thank you very much to Morrisons for kindly hosting us 👏

We had some great conversations with local residents and picked up some important casework.

From the Lunedale Road footpaths, to Manifold Road bus shelters, local anti-social behaviour, and environmental health issues.

Our next ward surgery is 6-7PM, on Friday 18th Sept, at Grange Farm Hobbies Centre . So do pop along if there is anything we can do to help!
