The final concert of our current season is on 27th March and features the Gould Piano Trio & Robert Plane.
They will be playing:-

Johannes Brahms: Trio for Clarinet, Cello and Piano in A minor, op. 114

Lumas Winds are playing for us on Friday 6th March at Outwood Academy, Foxhills, Foxhills Road, Scunthorpe DN15 8LJ. The concert starts at 7:30pm.
There is so much more to listening to a live music performance than to listening to a recording. When you are there you can engage with the emotions and music much more directly and create memorable experiences for yourself, family and friends.
We welcome anyone who wants to come on their own and we always support and help people to meet other music lovers.

Coming soon, our next concert, featuring Lumas Winds. A quintet with Wind Quintet: flute, bassoon, horn, clarinet, oboe. They are Beth Stone, flute, Chris Vettraino, oboe, Benjamin Hartnell-Booth, french horn, Flo Plane, bassoon and Rennie Sutherland, clarinet.
They will be playing for us on 6th March at 7:30pm.
Our concerts are at Outwood Academy, Foxhills, Foxhills Road Scunthorpe DN15 8LJ where there is plenty of free parking available.

Our next concert will feature the Aglica Trio. Carys Gittins (flute), Agnieszka Żyniewicz (viola) and Lise Vandersmissen (harp) form the Aglica Trio. Bringing their Welsh, Polish and Belgian influences together, they explore a range of newly written contemporary compositions, as well as the standard trio repertoire. They were selected to be Live Music Now Musicians and Sofar Sounds Artists. They are the winners of the Supernova Competition for Chamber Music in Belgium.
They will be playing for us on Friday 13 February at 7:30pm at Outwood Academy, Foxhills. Foxhills Road Scunthorpe DN15 8LJ

Coming up this Friday, our first concert of 2026: We are featuring the amazing young pianist Jacky Zhang.
He was a finalist in the 2024 BBC Young Musician competition and he will be playing
Chopin - Preludes, Op 28
and
Beethoven - Diabelli Variations, Op 120

Jacky Zhang has won several international piano competitions and although still young, his playing is skilful and mature.
You can come to hear him play this Friday 9th January at Outwood Academy Foxhills, starting at 7:30. This promises to be a wonderful start to 2026 and it will brighten up the bitter weather we have been having.
