SPECTACULAR DRONE LIGHT SHOW COMING TO NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE FOR THE FIRST TIME

Hundreds of synchronised drones will transform the night sky above Winterton Showground in a spectacular family event next spring.

A spectacular drone light show is set to arrive in North Lincolnshire for the first time, with Winterton Showground preparing to host an extraordinary evening of illuminated displays, music and storytelling.

Space Safari will take place on Saturday, April 3, 2027, promising a unique experience for families across Scunthorpe, Winterton, Hull and the surrounding areas.

The event will see hundreds of synchronised drones take to the night sky, creating giant animals, cosmic scenes and spectacular illuminated formations in a dazzling aerial display.

Combining cutting-edge drone technology with immersive sound and cinematic storytelling, Space Safari aims to take audiences on an extraordinary adventure through the natural world, outer space and beyond.

Organisers say the show will transform the night sky into a huge moving canvas, with intricate formations and colourful displays bringing the experience to life above the showground.

The event is also being promoted as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional fireworks, offering a spectacular visual experience without loud explosive bangs, smoke or falling debris.

With its combination of technology, music and spectacular aerial imagery, the show is expected to appeal to families looking for something different to enjoy during the Easter weekend.

Tickets are set to go on sale from Friday, October 16, 2026, giving people the opportunity to secure their place at the event well in advance.

The show will take place at Winterton Showground, North Lincolnshire, on Saturday, April 3, 2027.

Further details about the event, including ticket prices and timings, can be checked through the event organiser's official ticket information - visit the page Space Safari Drone Light Show – Winterton or the website https://www.spacesafari.show/event/space-safari-drone-light-show-winterton/
