🌻 SISTERS OF STEEL CIC – YOUR VOICE MATTERS! 🌻

💛 HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF WOMEN'S HEALTH IN NORTH & NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE!

Ladies, we need your voices! 💛

North Lincolnshire Public Health is currently developing the Director of Public Health Annual Report, and this year's focus is on WOMEN'S HEALTH across North and North East Lincolnshire.

But this isn't just about statistics, figures and reports.

It's about REAL women, REAL experiences and REAL challenges.

🌻 Have you ever felt that your health concerns weren't taken seriously?

🌻 Have you struggled to access the right support for your mental or physical health?

🌻 Have you experienced challenges with menopause, hormonal health, anxiety, depression or long-term health conditions?

🌻 Have family responsibilities, finances or work commitments made it difficult to prioritise your own wellbeing?

🌻 Or have you had positive experiences of healthcare and support that you think others could benefit from?

Whatever your experience, YOUR VOICE DESERVES TO BE HEARD! 💛

At Sisters of Steel CIC, we see firsthand how important it is for women to feel listened to, understood and supported.

Through our counselling, personal training, Sister Circles and wellbeing workshops, we meet women from all walks of life, each with their own stories, strengths and challenges.

And one thing we know is that women's health is NOT one-size-fits-all.

Public Health wants to hear from women of different ages, backgrounds and circumstances, especially those whose experiences may not always be represented in traditional health data.

💛 You don't need to be part of Sisters of Steel to take part.

💛 You don't need to have experienced poor health.

💛 Your positive experiences matter just as much as your challenges.

🌻 PLEASE SHARE THIS POST!

Tag your friends, sisters, mums, daughters, colleagues and other women across Northern Lincolnshire.

The more women who contribute, the better the report can reflect the diverse experiences and needs of our communities.

Women deserve to be heard. Women deserve to be supported. And women's health deserves to be a priority. 🌻💛

Together, let's help make a difference.

🌻 THIS WEDNESDAY – SISTERS OF STEEL CIC WORKSHOP! 🌻

💛 SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE HABITS 💛

Ever feel like you’re constantly trying to make positive changes, but life keeps getting in the way?

Maybe you start with the best intentions, only to find yourself slipping back into old habits. Or perhaps you’re juggling so many responsibilities that looking after yourself always ends up at the bottom of the list.

Sound familiar? You’re certainly not alone! 💛

This Wednesday, join Julia & Becky for our next FREE Sisters of Steel workshop, where we’ll explore how to create healthier, more sustainable habits that actually work for YOU.

🌻 WHAT WE’LL EXPLORE:

🧠 Habits vs Routines – Understanding why we do what we do.

🎯 The Psychology of Habits – How our behaviours develop and what helps us change them.

📊 Your Personal Habit Audit – Taking a closer look at your daily life and identifying what’s working and what isn’t.

🔗 Habit Stacking – Simple ways to introduce positive habits into routines you already have.

⚖️ The 80/20 & 3-3-3 Rules – Learning to prioritise what matters, reduce overwhelm and set realistic goals.

✨ No unrealistic expectations.
✨ No pressure to change everything overnight.
✨ No judgement.

Just practical tools, honest conversations and a supportive space to reflect on what works for you.

📅 Wednesday 21st October 2026
⏰ 12:15pm – 1:45pm
📍 New Beginnings Personal Training & Wellness Facility

🌻 SISTERS OF STEEL CIC – SEPTEMBER WORKSHOP 🌻

Our monthly workshops are back, and this month Becky will be leading us through a practical and interactive workshop exploring SELF-COMPASSION. 💛

Self-compassion can look and feel different for every woman, so rather than telling you what it should mean, this session will give you space to explore:

What does self-compassion mean to YOU?

Becky will take some ideas and techniques from different therapeutic approaches and bring them into the room in a plain-English, non-clinical and relatable way.

🌻 During the workshop, we’ll explore:

🧠 Our thoughts & beliefs
How to recognise those immediate “hot thoughts” and outdated beliefs we carry about ourselves — and begin reframing the ones that are no longer helpful.

💭 The pressure we put on ourselves
Exploring some of the internal drivers many of us recognise: Be Perfect, Work Hard, Be Strong, Please Others, Hurry Up — and how these can influence the expectations we place on ourselves.

🌸 Wabi-Sabi: finding beauty in imperfection
A hands-on activity exploring the Japanese philosophy of appreciating imperfection, change and the beauty of things as they are.

💛 Threat • Drive • Soothe
A simple look at three emotional systems — when we’re protecting ourselves, constantly striving and achieving, and when we’re able to feel safe, calm and content. We’ll consider whether we’re giving our soothing system enough space.

🌻 Understanding YOUR values
Using Becky’s values cards, we’ll explore what’s genuinely important to you — helping you understand yourself, recognise some of your triggers and build greater acceptance of who you are.

Throughout all of this we’ll also explore something many women will probably recognise:

Why can we offer understanding, patience and kindness to everybody else, yet be so hard on ourselves?

👩 For women aged 18+
📅 Wednesday 16th September
⏰ 12:15pm – 1:45pm
📍 New Beginnings Personal Training & Wellness Facility, Scunthorpe

You don’t need any knowledge of CBT, CFT, Transactional Analysis or ACT. You don’t even need to know what those letters mean! Becky will keep everything accessible, practical and relevant to everyday life.

There will be opportunities to take part, reflect and connect, but as always with Sisters of Steel, there is no pressure to share anything personal with the group.
