Our most sincere thanks to Grant Beaton, Calmac crew, minibus and office staff at Uig for their wonderful kindness and support during our day trip outing to Lochmaddy. The sun shone brightly over Lochmaddy for the 17 of us and we all enjoyed a delicious lunch on board - our smiles say it all❤️

Our grateful thanks also goes to Uig Hotel and staff for welcoming our 8 landlubbers who opted for a leisurely, very tasty lunch outing.🥰

Fancy getting a bee for your honey, your own wee Highlander or a sheep just for ewe?😘 We’ll all be there at the Agricultural Show on Saturday in support of Skye Stroke Friends! P.S Terry’s chocolate oranges included😋

We’ll also have a fantastic raffle and lots of delicious homemade vanilla and treacle tablet - yup treacle!😋

Oh, and of course we’ll be ready to run with our very popular sock tombola. Please come along and see us knowing that every penny we raise makes a real difference.❤️

Skye Stroke Friends can now accept self-referrals for small non-medical related items of equipment. We are so grateful to the Budhmor Fund and Muirhall Energy Ltd for allowing us to widen the scope of our Sunflower Fund. This is a result of the very helpful feedback from stroke survivors and their supporters. Please feel free to distribute this information throughout Skye and Raasay❤️

We had the real pleasure of welcoming Richard from Stroke Association Scotland and Chloe who is the Stroke Co-ordinator based at Raigmore Hospital visiting us last week🥰.

It was great to hear about their jobs and what they’re aiming to do as they settle into their new posts. We shared some of our personal stories and experiences with them and they joined us for a cuppa (and cake of course!) and one of our favourite games. It was fantastic to receive their feedback - they told us what we have here is very special and inspiring and there is nothing like it anywhere else in Highland. They both happily intend to come back to visit us again soon❤️

There will lots of amazing goodies to choose from!😋. We’ll have raffle hampers, delicious homemade vanilla and treacle tablet, ultra cute, 🐝 Beespoke chocolate orange cosies as well as our very popular sock tombola to play!
