❤️Day 15 of getting to know our Ladies, and today we have our lovely Debra!

Grab a cuppa, settle in and get to know Our Debra… because every lady has a story, and every story matters. 🎀

Debra's story: I joined Ladies in Pink in 2023 after seeing the group perform in the 2022 Monty. I was inspired
by what they did and wanted to become involved in helping to raise awareness and funds for
cancer charities.
I have had two cancer scares myself, which fortunately turned out to be cysts that were
successfully removed. Although I have been lucky, I have seen the impact cancer can have on
people's lives. Thankfully, my family and friends who have been affected by cancer have
survived their battles.
I feel truly blessed to be part of this group of lovely, strong women. The Ladies in Pink are not
only dedicated to a great cause but are also a group you can rely on for support and friendship
whenever it is needed most. 💗

❤️Day 14 of getting to know our Ladies, and today we have our lovely Pam!

Grab a cuppa, settle in and get to know Our Pam… because every lady has a story, and every story matters. 🎀

Pam's story: I joined Ladies in Pink in 2022 after losing my husband, Mark, to cancer. His illness progressed
very quickly, and he passed away at home in my arms. It was an incredibly difficult time in my
life. If raising money and awareness can help prevent other families from going through the
same heartbreak, then every effort is worthwhile.
Since joining, the ladies have been a tremendous source of support and have become like
family to me. I honestly don't know where I would be without them. Thank you all. xx

❤️Day 13 of getting to know our Ladies, and today we have our lovely Kenzie!

Grab a cuppa, settle in and get to know Our Kenzie… because every lady has a story, and every story matters. 🎀

Kenzies story: My name is Kenzie. I am 18 years old. I first joined this group when I was 11, after my
mum encouraged me to come along to a dance class. That was when I met these amazing
people, who I have since grown to call my family.
Over the years, this group has become such an important part of my life. In 2025, I sadly lost my
lovely grandma to bone cancer, which was incredibly difficult for me and my family. During this
time, the support from this group meant everything to us. They were there for me and my mum,
lifting us up and never giving up on us.
I am forever grateful to be surrounded by such a caring and supportive group of people who feel
like family. 💗

Megs story : I joined Ladies in Pink after attending the 2023 dinner dance and seeing first hand the
energy, passion and sense of community that made the event so special. While I was inspired
by the group's commitment to raising funds for breast cancer research, it was the fun, friendship
and welcoming atmosphere that encouraged me to be a member. Being part of a group that
brings people together through dance while supporting such an important cause has been an
incredibly rewarding experience, and I am proud to contribute to the community and mission.

💕 MEET THE LADIES IN PINK – SPOTLIGHT #11💕

❤️Day 11 of getting to know our Ladies, and today we have our lovely Jen !

Grab a cuppa, settle in and get to know Our Jen… because every lady has a story, and every story matters. 🎀

For years I carried the weight of post‑natal depression after the birth of my first child in 2013. Just as I was learning to cope, my world shifted again in 2020 when I lost my father to cancer and Covid. Grief pushed me to rock bottom, and it was my partner who gently reminded me that I needed something just for myself — something that would help me feel whole again.
That moment came in 2023, when I first saw the Ladies in Pink performing at my daughter’s dance show. They were a vibrant, uplifting group of women of all ages and abilities, united by purpose and filled with joy. Each had their own story — some were cancer survivors, others had
lost loved ones — but all of them radiated strength, hope, and solidarity.
I joined them in 2024, and it has been life‑changing. What began as a step toward healing has become a source of laughter, friendship, confidence, and community. The Ladies in Pink have given me not just a place to dance, but a place to belong — a second family, and the therapy I
didn’t know I needed. 🩷
