❄️ SEND Parent/Carer Coffee Morning – Cancelled ❄️

Due to the snowfall, we’ve had to cancel tomorrow’s SEND parent/carer coffee morning. We were really looking forward to our first one back after the festivities and to starting the new year together on a positive note.

With many of our children’s schools and nurseries closed, we know it’s been disruptive for families. Please take care and stay safe in the snow.

We’ll be back as normal (weather permitting) next Tuesday the 13th, ready to put the world to rights over a cuppa ☕

Our first SEND coffee morning was truly wonderful. It was a relaxed, welcoming space where families, carers, and staff could connect, share experiences, and support one another. The room was filled with friendly conversations, laughter, and a real sense of community. It was inspiring to see everyone come together—some meeting for the first time, others reconnecting—and leaving with new ideas, comfort, and confidence. We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning such a positive and meaningful start to future SEND gatherings.

Same time next Tuesday - 10:30am-12:30pm…We can’t wait to see you there!!

It's finally here... Tomorrow is officially LAUNCH DAY of the SENDunity Hub Scarborough 🎉

We will be in the community room of the Play Centre (behind Sainsbury's) from 10.30am-12.30pm.

We will be joined by the amazing Ali Hay - Speech & Language Therapist 🙌🏼
Ali is an independent Speech and Language therapist with over 20 years experience of working with children. She will be happy to offer advice and support regarding speech, language and communication difficulties.

Please come and join us for a cuppa and a chat... It's going to be a wonderful wholesome morning 🥹

We are SO proud to finally announce the birth of our baby - SENDunity Hub. Designed by a couple of SEND parent-carer’s for SEND parents and carers within the community.

We understand first hand how difficult the system can be to navigate, so let us help you. Our team are here to offer emotional support and practical guidance.

Launching 2nd December come and join us every Tueday 10:30am-12:30pm (term time only) where the tea is hot and the company is like-minded. We’re offering a safe space where you are able to talk with zero judgement…just understanding.

Where are we located?
The Playcentre, Scarborough. (Behind Sainsbury’s)

Did I mention this service is completely FREE!?
