Volunteers' Week Spotlight 🌟

As we continue to celebrate Volunteers' Week, we'd like to recognise and thank Judy Green from Filey, who has recently been awarded a certificate for an incredible 10 years of volunteering with Saint Catherine's.

For the past decade, Judy has been a familiar and valued face at our Filey shop, giving her time, dedication and support to help raise vital funds for patient care across our community.

Pictured receiving her certificate alongside Shop Manager Paul and fellow volunteer Richard, Judy represents the many amazing volunteers who help make a difference through their kindness, commitment and generosity.

Celebrating on from Volunteers Week💛

Jenny, Our Director of HR, recently had the pleasure of presenting Saint Catherine's Monthly Star Award to Debbie, a wonderful volunteer at our Falsgrave shop, in recognition of her outstanding contribution 🌟

Debbie was nominated by Store Manager Tracey for the incredible creativity and effort she puts into the shop window displays. One standout moment saw her design a fantastic World Cup display, including a striking red dress she had made herself from a pair of curtains! 🎽✨

Debbie regularly takes items home to alter and adjust, helping ensure the Falsgrave shop always has eye-catching and imaginative displays that bring in the community.

It was a pleasure to recognise the time, skill and care she gives so generously - both in the shop and behind the scenes at home 💛

Debbie is the first volunteer to receive a Star Award, which makes this recognition even more special, and it’s brilliant to see volunteers being celebrated in this way 🌟

A huge thank you to Debbie, and to all our volunteers who make such a difference every single day 💙
