We had a quiet and relaxing time at SENSES today. The first part of the morning was spent playing with puzzles and reading books, before going outside to hunt for pine cones and play hide and seek. The girls then explored the doll's house to finish off the session.

Our craft activity today featured garden insects and flowers produced for us by BeamiT Laser Design. These wooden shapes are always a big hit! After snack time, we explored our story sack, which involved similar garden elements. The children matched objects to the pictures and found the corresponding word cards. It was a lovely morning catching up with everyone 😊

What a great way to finish off the half term! The music therapy was wonderfully delivered by Jacob, and the children responded really well. The songs that included their names, and the instructional exercises of Loud, Quiet, or Stop, were particular favourites.

The children were very good at letting us know which animals Old MacDonald had on their farm, and what actions would be next in Wheels on the Bus. This was demonstrated by their signing or vocalising.

Have a lovely half term holiday, and we will see you back with our coffee morning on Monday 1st June.
