Step one complete ✔️ operation all went to plan.
Now for stage 2 - lots of rest & monitoring, 23 hours of leg elevation a day, which if all goes to plan will allow the newly placed bones and metal work to fuse together. If this all works out it will give me a perfectly straight foot which I’ll be able to walk on in approximately 6-8 weeks time 🤞
Long process ahead, and bumps expected along the road but definitely a positive start. I’m absolutely exhausted, and still not fully with it so will get back to everyone’s messages as soon as possible. It’s gunna be a killer not been able to do anything as I’m someone who always wants to be on the go, but it’s short term pain for long term gain.
