Some of our members have been really busy this week with a donation to the Westway Open Arms of £1000 from funds raised from our charitable fund, the cheque was presented by IPM Chris Adnitt and IPM Andy Baddley Also with the food banks running really low our Assistant DC WBro David Birkinshaw seen a post for help from these guys for food bank donations. Without a second thought David delivered to them on Wednesday 20 bags of potatoes, 20 bags of carrots, 20 bags of parsnips, 20 cabbage and 20 suede and to top it off another donation of the same inventory today!

Well done to the members of the Old Globe, and to the guys at the Westway Open Arms.

Well Old Globe had an absolute blast last night celebrating Wbro Woodhead's 50th anniversary in Freemasonry, we had APGM in charge and his team come on down and present a certificate and gifts to congratulate the efforts over these years.

The dining seen 63 members join us at our white table event with some potential members wanting to join us. We also had WBro Laycock providing is some entertainment for the evening.

A special thank you to all the members that played roles in the evening, the Provincial officers that supported our WM on the night and for their efforts towards WBro Woodhead and all our ladies and guests.

Our charitable funds for the evening raised a whopping £365 with funds being donated to the TLC bears, which is a brilliant cause that provides teddy bears to the A&E departments for children thats admitted into hospital.

Today seen the Old Globe lodge holding our festive lunch for our widowers, it was a fantastic day filled with good food and good humour finished of with a visit to the Scarborough Masonic Hall Bar. Thank you to all those that attended and served, but a big thank you to our organisers.

Tomorrow is the Scarborough Masonic Hall heritage open day come and take a look around from 10am - 1pm and meet your local Freemasonry people.

Come along and have a tour of the Scarborough Masonic Hall and meet the Freemasonry Team, we will show you around the Lodge Temple and answer your questions. We will have information videos available to view.

this Wednesday, Howley Lodge Nº 5012 made A 23rd annual visit to the Old Globe Lodge 200. A total of 8 brethren from Howley and a visitor from Jamaica were able to make the trip up to Scarborough and join visitors from 9 other lodges. It was an extremely well presented ceremony, a great meal and as usual great laughs with friends.
This Yearly Traditions strengthens the Bond of Brothers,
It was Wonderful to have hosted our visitors from Howley Lodge Nº 5012.
