An absolutely perfect day for a campfire. We learnt about hibernation and the children worked hard making a waterproof shelter for their chosen animals. Finished with some giant toasted marshmallows 🔥❤️

🍂🦔 WILDLIFE CLUB THIS SUNDAY! 🐿️🔥

Ever wondered what happens to animals when autumn turns to winter? We’ll discover how different creatures prepare for the colder months, look for signs of animal homes and have a go at building a cosy shelter for our own little animal friend!

And the best bit… it’ll be our first campfire since summer! We can’t wait to gather round the fire again 🔥

Wildlife Club Sunday 4th October 10am-12pm

Come and see what’s hiding in the great outdoors! We’ll hunt for bugs, explore their habitats and take a closer look at the wildlife we find. There’ll be hands-on nature activities and time to follow your curiosity, then we’ll finish by toasting marshmallows around the campfire.

Dress for the weather and wear shoes that can get muddy.

Another perfect day at this beautiful place 💚

We explored the gardens hunting for special ingredients to go in our potions 🧙🏻‍♀️
We met a few cheeky frogs along the way 🐸
Then back to camp where we created potions for the trees and carved our very own wands to take home ✨

🕵️🦋 Wildlife Detectives at Scampston Hall 🌿
What a fantastic morning we had exploring the beautiful grounds of Scampston Hall! 🌳
Our young wildlife detectives searched high and low for signs of nature, discovered amazing bugs, spotted frogs and tadpoles, identified wildlife, and enjoyed getting hands-on with the natural world. Every adventure brings new discoveries, and today certainly didn't disappoint!

🪄✨ What a fantastic day of woodland magic!
We headed out on a nature hunt, discovering beautiful flowers, fascinating bugs and collecting natural treasures for our magical potions. 🌼🐞🍃
Back in the woods, everyone mixed up their own woodland potions before finishing the session by safely carving their very own wands using real tools. It's amazing to see the confidence and creativity grow with every adventure! 🌿🪵
