☀️ HOT WEATHER = HIGHER RISK ☀️
As temperatures rise, so does the risk of heat exhaustion – especially for those working outdoors, attending events, or spending long periods in the sun.
🚨 Know the warning signs:
✔️ Dizziness or light-headedness
✔️ Heavy sweating
✔️ Headaches or nausea
✔️ Rapid heartbeat
✔️ Fatigue and weakness
💧 Stay safe by:
• Drinking water regularly
• Taking breaks in shaded or cool areas
• Wearing light, breathable clothing
• Avoiding strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day
If someone is showing signs of heat exhaustion, move them to a cool place, give them water, and seek medical advice if symptoms worsen.
A little preparation can make a big difference. Stay safe, look after yourself, and look out for others. 💚
