Many thanks to everyone who helped at our workshop and to Chris Carter at the Indie for this wonderful article on the Great Get Together 2026 😃🌟

The Great Get Together saw 70 adults and children creating colourful decorations to brighten High Wych in the weeks leading up to the annual event.

Lots of creative fun and cake today at High Wych Hall! Workshop is on until 12 noon and there are Little Miss & Mr Men characters to take home and paint 😃 All welcome ❤️

Community Dog Walk time again folks! 😃 We hope you can meet us by the noticeboard at the Terlings development, on Sunday 31st May (𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆) 2.30pm. You don’t need a dog - just come for a lovely stroll with us, the temperature is looking much more pleasant and refreshments will be served afterwards ☕️🍰

It’s time for our Community Dog Walk again. Join us at the Queen’s Head, Allen’s Green on 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 (𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆) 2.30pm. You don’t need a dog - just come and walk with us, if you don’t want to walk come and join us in the pub at 4.00 pm. We will be going off road so please wear suitable footwear. Hope to see you there. Places for People are proposing to shut the road between Eastwick roundabout and the Dusty Miller pub in Burntmill Lane from September 30 to November 17, which will no doubt cause congestion chaos for all surrounding areas! Residents are being urged to write to Places for People, councils, journalists and MPs to voice their concerns.
