🎉 Sandwich Festival – August Bank Holiday Weekend!
📅 Friday 23rd – Monday 25th August
We're so lucky to have the Sandwich Festival every year on August Bank Holiday Weekend! A celebration of our community, with local groups and organisations coming together to put on a weekend of free events for everyone to enjoy.
✨ Here’s what’s happening:
👉 Saturday 23rd – Market Street stalls all day - Music4Martha on the Guildhall Forecourt with stalls, live music (12–6:30pm), a full bar, delicious food, cakes, ice cream, festival hair & sparkles, and more!
👉 Sunday 24th – More Market Street stalls plus live music and entertainment on the Guildhall Forecourt organised by The Market Inn, raising funds for Sandwich Folk & Ale Festival 2026.
👉Sunday 24th - Alfa Romeo Club - Guildhall Car Park
🎶 Over on the Quay Green, Sandwich Music Events Association (SMEA) bring a brilliant line-up, including the debut of Sandwich punk band Carnage and the fabulous After Dark.
👉 Monday 25th – The much-loved Rotary Duck Race 🦆 along the river!
👉 Tuesday 26th - St Bart’s Day Bun Run - St Bart's Chapel, 12pm
🌟 All events are FREE to attend – come along, bring the family, enjoy live music, great food & drink, and support local organisations making this festival happen.
👉The East Kent Art Society Open Art Exhibition, 23rd-25th at St Mary's Arts Centre raising money for Pilgrims Hospices.
