Great fun exploring portraits at Dream Big. Looking at facial features, geometric shapes and patterns, drawing with either hand. Much fun and laughter and creativity.

Looking for something to do this Friday? Head along over to the Braccan Walk Youth Event for young people at the Ring in Bracknell. A huge thank you to the amazing young people who have spent the last four weeks working towards their Young Leaders Award. Throughout the programme, they explored the qualities of a good leader, developed communication and teamwork skills, learned how to plan and deliver games and activities, and gained a better understanding of how to support young people with diverse needs.

These young leaders will now go on to volunteer within their local community, particularly supporting the junior youth club at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and look forward to offering more opportunities like this in the future. Well done to everyone involved!

Sandhurst Youth at the Dream Big project finished their final session before half-term with a fantastic evening of Taskmaster-style challenges, where young people rose to the challenge through teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking. From protecting the Milky Bar and building the tallest marshmallow and spaghetti tower, to racing Maltesers across the room using only a straw, the activities encouraged young people to think differently, problem-solve, and support one another whilst having lots of fun along the way.

Throughout the session, young people developed their communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, learning from each other and discovering new ways to tackle challenges together. The evening finished with some brilliant awards, including Brainiac of the Group, the award for the young person who made everyone laugh the most, and the ultimate Taskmaster Champion award.

It was a fantastic way to end the term before half-term, and Sandhurst Youth looks forward to welcoming everyone back soon for more fun, games, and opportunities to get involved — so why not come along and see what it’s all about?
