Great to reconnect with our members at Dream Big last night after the summer break. We welcomed some new members into the group and spent time looking back over the summer holidays and ahead to the programme for this term. Since it was a fine evening we went to the park to enjoy the open air and build new friendships together.

We hope that all our members have enjoyed their holidays and look forward to welcoming them back to an exciting term at Dream Big. Anyone aged 11-18 welcome! See you on Sunday, 6-8pm at Sandhurst Baptist Church Hall. Entrance 50p. Tuck shop (cash).

A great way to end a really great term with 34 young people attending the Thorpe park trip. Lots of young people visiting for the first time. It was great to bring young people together from across the Sandhurst area, military and civilian, making new friends, building confidence, having fun. We hope they all have a great summer and look out for the detached youth sessions that start on Monday.

Great night sharing all the stories from the term discovering what young people are looking forward to and what they would like to do next term. Lovely that we are now attracting new members weekly and getting a chance to capture new ideas. Last night was the busiest evening yet. No meeting at the hall next week as many of us will be heading to Thorpe Park together. Have a wonderful summer everyone and hope to see you at other events over the summer before the Sunday evening meetings begin again in September.

It was great fun to do the selfie challenge yesterday at Dream Big youth club. We had several new members and the young people worked together in teams to create selfies ranging from the highest human pyramid to recreating a super movie, wierd shaped trees in the background and who can pull the funniest faces.
