Lodge St. Munn Ardnadam No. 496 We are Lodge St. Munn Ardnadam No.496 on the role of the Grand lodge of Scotland. We are based in Sandbank Village outside of Dunoon.

We meet every 2nd Wednesday September to April at 1930 in the Village Hall.

Good Morning all.
A point of notice for you all.
We will not be having a meeting this Wednesday 8th of April. Instead we will be having a special Saturday meeting on the 2nd of may at 1330. The business of the meeting will be a EA for one gentleman. After the meeting we will have usual harmony in the lodge followed by a social get together in Upper cowal bowling club across the road. This promises to be a great day and a wonderful way to finish the season. Come and support the new RWM and his Office-Bearers at his first meeting. You won't regret it. Spread the word.

Attention all!
The Annual Installation of Office Bearers and a Brand new RWM will take place on Saturday 28th of March 2026. Lodge will tyle at 1pm. Visiting Deputations to follow. Come and enjoy what is always a great day of Freemasonry. After the meeting, Harmony will be held in the premises of Lodge Dunoon Argyll 335.
Come and make a day of it and welcome in the New Rwm and his Office Bearers.

Open Evening at Lodge St Munn – Everyone Welcome

Come along to a relaxed Open Evening at Lodge St Munn, Ardnaadam – everyone is welcome.

This is not a recruitment event. It’s simply a chance for the local community to come in, see what the lodge is like, meet some of our members, and learn about the community and charity work we’re involved in.

On the night, we’ll also have a short presentation from Prostate Scotland, highlighting the important work they do and how Scottish Freemasonry supports the charity and raises awareness of men’s health across our communities.

As the dust settles on what was a wonderful evening at Lodge Greenock Kilwinning no12 last night, can I take this opportunity to thank everyone who joined us for what for me was a wonderful experience. I was hounored to lead a Deputation and work an EA degree in my Mother Lodge. What made it even more special was the fact the Deputation was made up not only of members of 496 but also 8 different Lodges from the Province of Argyll and the Isles, Lodge Inveraray St Johns 50, Lodge Oban Commercial 180, Lodge Dunoon Argyll 335, Lodge St Modan 985, Lodge Kyles of Bute 1120, Lodge Tarbert Loch Fyne 1306, Lodge Innellan and Toward 1435 and Lodge Earraghaidheal 1822. The evening was a great success and I thank everyone involved. Pictures to follow.

A busy couple of weeks in store for the Lodge. Starting off with our Annual Provincial Grand Lodge Visit on the 14th of January please note an early start time of 7pm.
We then will travel over to Lodge Greenock Kilwinning no12 in the Province of Renfrewshire West on the 20th of January to confer a first degree on their newest Candidate. This promises to be a exciting evening as Greenock Kilwinning no12 is the mother lodge of our own RWM. Anyone who wishes to join us will be made most welcome. We plan to get the 6pm Western Ferry and return on the last sailing at 2230.

A fantastic first meeting back at Lodge St Munn last night. A full Lodge room and a wonderful atmosphere. The Brethern witnessed a great Fellowcraft Degree conducted by the members of 496. Then PM Bro Kenneth Harvey and PM Bro Robert Hartley, awarded with their 50 year Jubilee certificate and Jewels. A fantastic achievement for both and for the Lodge. There was Lodges represented from through out Argyll and the Isles and this made the night even more special. To top off the evening Bro Simon McVicar and Bro Donnie McFarlane were presented with certificates and badges from the Provincial Grand Secretary for Visiting all 18 Lodges in the Province. 12 on the main land and the 6 island Lodges. What an achievement. Well done to all.

Good Morning!
Dust off the regalia, look out your suit,
The new session starts at Lodge St Munn 496 tomorrow evening. The Lodge will be conferring a Fellowcraft Degree on one Candidate. After the degree is complete there will be a couple of special things taking place which we are sure you wouldn't want to miss.
We tyle at 1930 and look forward to meeting old and new friends in what is sure to be a wonderful evening.
