BLACK VOICES: THE UNTOLD STORIES 🖤✈️
**“I Dreamed of Flying, But Life Never Gave Me the Wings.”**
Recently, I met an elderly Black gentleman at the airport who shared a touching story.
“When I was young, I dreamed of becoming a pilot. I loved watching aeroplanes and imagined myself flying across the world. But financial difficulties, limited opportunities and social barriers prevented me from achieving my dream.
Although I never became a pilot, every time I see an aircraft take off, I remember the young boy who once dreamed of touching the sky. My hope is that future generations will have the opportunities I never had.”
**His story reminded me that not every unfulfilled dream is the result of a lack of ambition. Sometimes, it is the absence of opportunity.**
**Every child deserves a chance to spread their wings, regardless of race, background or circumstances.**
