Though I say it myself, what a fantastic day we had yesterday. It was so lovely to see friends and neighbours, those who already knew the church and those for whom it was the first opportunity to step inside. Thanks to all the helpers, the history buffs, the musicians and Morris dancers and to Reeves the Baker for the fantastic scones. It was very successful boost to the funds, but more than that a great opportunity to hear the organ played, drink tea and talk about the church, sit and soak up the atmosphere and indeed soak a few of the trustees in the stocks.

Are you ready for this? A week today, June 6th in the Wilton Community Centre, come and put your puzzling skills to the test. Very limited opportunity to do and keep these beautiful puzzles. Prizes for fastest finishers too. From 6.00 onwards, bring the family or friends and puzzle or play a range of other games.

Message me if you want to reserve your puzzle and space. Puzzles £12 plus Games Night entry £5 per person or £10 for the whole family. Limited bar available.

The Lottery application has been submitted, all 38 questions and 48 appendices worked on by the Trustees. Now we await the outcome which if positive will mean we can continue with detailed planning and surveying as well as discussing the details with the diocese. We should hear in September. In the meantime, we have our next Games Night on 6th June, so come down to the Community Centre for an evening of fun and games.

Come on your own or with the family and have a fun evening playing a whole variety of Games, or try your hand at winning back the cost of your unique Fugglestone Jigsaw Puzzle in a timed competition.

The Fugglestone St Peter colouring books have landed. Come and get the first copies at our stall at the Wilton Village Market on Sunday from 10.00. £7.50 each or 2 for £10. Lots of pictures of the church and other local landmarks.
