All the plaques of The Trafalgar Way are now listed, with images, on the website at https://www.thetrafalgarway.org/the-plaques . We've added in Streetview and What 3 Words locations for them all and they are linked to the Interactive Map at https://www.thetrafalgarway.org/the-trafalgar-way-map too.

Unfortunately, we don't have up-to-date rights-free images of the plaques at Holland Park or Hounslow right now, but we'll be adding them just as soon as we can get hold of some!

Salisbury Museum is always full of fascinating and cool exhibits, but they currently have a gallery featuring info on milestones which is very interesting. Well worth a visit if you're in the vicinity.

Stopped by The Post Inn, formerly The Post Office Inn, near Whiddon Down on the A30. This probably existed at the time of Lapenotiere's historic journey from Falmouth to London, however he carried on to Crockernwell before next changing horses.

A board outside the pub explains how it got its name, and the importance of posting inns as part of the nationwide network of reliable, fast horse-driven transport at that time.

Where did you spend Pickle Night? There was lots going on!

Kathy was in Ilfracombe, birthplace of Lt John Richards Lapenotiere, giving a talk on the story of the Trafalgar messenger at Ilfracombe Museum.

A great atmosphere in the museum, which has a dedicated display about JRL and Pickle. The Scuttlebuts singers entertained us (and made us join in!), and a delicious spread of refreshments was provided.

We closed the evening with two toasts, the Wednesday toast, "To Ourselves!", and The Immortal Memory.

Ilfracombe is full of maritime history. We also visited the Holy Trinity Church and saw the memorials to the BOWEN family and the grave of Simon Gage BRITTON, who was the surgeon on board HMS Pickle at Trafalgar, and tended the injured in HMS Victory on 21st Oct 1805.
