John McNeill Opportunity Centre, Salisbury The John McNeill Opportunity Centre in Salisbury supports pre-school children with disabilities and developmental delays to maximise their potential.

The Centre is a non-profit charity and works with families across the South Wiltshire area. The John McNeill Opportunity Centre has been supporting pre-school children with disabilities and learning difficulties since 1979. Our skilled team use a variety of therapies and approaches to ensure that each child maximises their potential. We rely on fundraising to keep the centre open - please contact us if you would like to help.

What is the Needs-Led Approach, and what could it mean for your child?

We’re inviting parent carers to join our upcoming Needs-Led Approach sessions to find out more, learn about the approach and explore what it could mean for their families.

The sessions are exclusively for parent carers, not professionals, and will take place online via Microsoft Teams over the coming months. We’re also trialling an evening session to give more parent carers the chance to take part.

Another academic year has come to an end and we wish all of our families who are moving on from us this summer the best of luck.

Returning children will be welcomed back on Monday 7th September and we are looking forward to meeting our new starters in the weeks that follow.

Thank you to all of our staff, families, trustees, committee members, supporters, wider professionals and most importantly the children for being so wonderful this year.
