Every week is for us. That's because everything we do is powered by our incredible volunteers.

From packing emergency food parcels, to campaigning for change - our community of over 40,000 volunteers help us to support people facing hardship, and get closer to a future where food banks are no longer needed.

Please help us celebrate our amazing volunteers this week. Share a πŸ’š or a message of appreciation in the comments.

When you’re caring for a loved one, you should NEVER have to worry about if you can afford food. But after being a full-time carer for her mum for 9 years, Cheryl was left with no option but to turn to a food bank.

Cheryl joined us at our Together Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show last week, and reflected about the support she received from her local food bank.

Our garden reflects reflects the power of communities coming together and the role we can all play in ending hunger. πŸ’š

Young people are being failed by the very systems meant to support them - education, health and social security.

❗ In five years, 1.25 MILLION young people could be out of work or training if no action is taken.

Sky-high rents, low incomes from wages and social security, and a lack of mental health support are pushing young people to food banks - and making it even harder for them to access work or training.

But it doesn't have to be this way.

Investing in young people is an investment in our country and a future without the need for food banks. The UK government MUST act.

Though the RHS Chelsea Flower Show may now be over, it's only the beginning for our Together Garden!

And over the next few months, it will be moving to Strabane Foodbank. πŸ’š

Strabane Foodbank, in Northern Ireland, run a community garden project, creating a space for people to come together and learn new skills.

Our Together Garden will help this vital work expand, and will be used as a place of quiet reflection and therapy in a town which suffers from high levels of deprivation.

We want to say a huge thank you to Rob Hardy, who designed our garden, Project Giving Back for making this a reality, and everyone who supported us last week.

Together, we CAN grow a future where no one needs to turn to a food bank just to get by. 🌱

Every inch of our Together Garden tells a story about hunger – and hope. πŸ’š Here’s what it represents...

β˜• It's a space for a cuppa and a chat, inspired by those first moments at a food bank when someone feels listened to.

🀝 A structure of interlocking beams symbolises how communities hold each other up.

πŸ™ Intersecting paths and benches show the power and strength of what's possible when we come together.

🌻 Colourful flowers for small bursts of hope – to show that change IS possible.

❌πŸ₯« You’ll notice this isn’t a food garden...Because hunger in the UK isn’t about access to food, it’s about a lack of income, connection and compassion.

And when the RHS Chelsea Flower Show ends, this won't be the end of it's story. Our garden will be relocated to Strabane Foodbank, where their community can enjoy it for years to come.

We're so pleased to be able to share our wonderful garden with you. Tell us what you love most about the garden in the comments!

We need your help! Please vote for our Together Garden in the RHS Chelsea Flower Show People's Choice Awards. πŸ’š

It shows how, when we all work together, we can end hunger.

Sowing the seeds for a future where food banks are no longer needed. πŸ₯‡

Our Together Garden, created by Rob Hardy Gardens, has won GOLD at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Inspired by his visits to food banks, Rob wanted to use the garden to highlight the range of people who work to ensure food banks can support people.

The garden is about more than beautiful plants - it reflects food banks and communities coming together to support people on the lowest incomes.

Last year, 2.6 million emergency food parcels were provided by our community of food banks. There's never been a more important time for us all to come together to end hunger. πŸ’š

We're bringing more than flowers to RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year...we're planting the seeds for a future where no one needs to turn to a food bank to survive. 🌱

Our Together Garden reflects the power of community - from food banks supporting people today, to all of us ending hunger forever.

Created by Rob Hardy and made possible by Project Giving Back, it won’t just last the week - it will move to Strabane Foodbank to be enjoyed for years to come.

Right now, ending hunger in the UK couldn’t be more important. We’re so proud to open our garden, welcome visitors, and start the conversations that can drive real change.
