⚽ LET’S GROW THE GAME AT ALDERBURY FC 💚

Alderbury FC has been part of our community since 1903, and over 120 years later, we’re incredibly proud to call Firs Road our home.

We’re fortunate to have good facilities, grass pitches and a committed committee who are passionate about continuing to develop the club and making the most of what we have.

Now, we’d love to look at how we can offer even more opportunities for people to enjoy football.

⚽ Female Football
⚽ Disability Football
⚽ Walking Football

These are just some of the areas we’d love to explore — but to make them happen, we need people.

Whether you’d be interested in playing, coaching, volunteering, helping to organise a new section or simply supporting us in getting something off the ground, we would genuinely love to hear from you.

You don’t need to have all the answers or come to us with a ready-made team. Sometimes it just takes a few interested people and a bit of enthusiasm to start something special.

We have the club.
We have the facilities.
We have a great team of people behind us.

Now we’d love to open Firs Road up to even more of our community. 💚

📧 In the first instance, please contact us at [email protected]

Please share and help us reach anyone who might like to be part of the next chapter of Alderbury FC.

Since 1903 — and still growing. 💚⚽💚

🟢⚪️ SAFEGUARDING REMINDER | ALDERBURY FC ⚪️⚫️

Following reports of a number of recent incidents within the local area, we wanted to take the opportunity to remind our football community of the importance of remaining vigilant around our young players.

We don’t want to cause unnecessary worry or alarm, but the safety and wellbeing of every child at Alderbury FC will always be our highest priority.

We kindly ask parents and guardians to:

⚽ Remain responsible for children before and after training and matches.
⚽ Please don’t leave children unattended around the clubhouse, pitches, car parks or surrounding areas.
⚽ Collect children promptly at the agreed finish time.
⚽ Encourage children to speak to a trusted adult if anything makes them feel uncomfortable or concerned.
⚽ Be particularly mindful when arriving at and leaving Firs Road.
⚽ Where possible, ensure younger players travel to and from football with a responsible adult.

We also ask our coaches and volunteers to continue following the club’s safeguarding procedures and to report anything that causes concern.

💚 Safeguarding is a shared responsibility.

By looking out for one another, remaining vigilant and keeping the conversation going with our children, we can continue to make Alderbury FC a safe, welcoming and positive place for everyone.

If you see something that doesn’t feel right, please don’t ignore it — report it.

🚨 Immediate danger: 999
📞 Non-emergency police: 101

Thank you, as always, to our parents, guardians, coaches, volunteers and supporters for helping us look after our young players.

One Club. One Community. Looking Out For One Another. 💚⚽

Thank you to Salisbury FC Youth for sharing.

⚽️💚 COULD YOU HELP US BRING MORE FOOTBALL TO ALDERBURY? 💚⚽️

We’re incredibly fortunate to be receiving a high number of enquiries from children wanting to join Alderbury FC.

We would love to say yes to more of them, but to create new teams and offer more children the opportunity to train, play and enjoy grassroots football, we need more volunteer coaches.

Perhaps your child is looking to play and you would be interested in getting involved too? Maybe you and a friend have children of a similar age and could take on a team together? You don’t need to arrive with all the qualifications or experience, we will support you every step of the way, including helping you through the process of gaining your coaching qualifications. 🙌

💚 Fantastic facilities at Firs Road
⚽ FA affiliated
⭐ England Football Accredited
🤝 A supportive committee behind you
🏡 A friendly, community grassroots club established in 1903

Coaching is a brilliant opportunity to make a real difference to a group of young players and help create memories that can last a lifetime.

Could this be you?

📧 We would love to hear from you: [email protected]

Please share - the right person could already be part of our AFC community. 💚🖤🤍
