Avonbourne Care Centre is incredibly proud of our amazing Kamila, who took the leap and completed her skydive! 🎉👏

After a little wait due to the weather, the day finally arrived, and Kamila absolutely smashed it! 💪🥰

Even more incredible, she has raised a HUGE £960 so far! 🤩💙 What an amazing achievement, and a massive thank you to everyone who has donated and supported Kamila along the way.

Kamila, you are an absolute superstar, and we couldn’t be prouder of you! 🌟🪂

Today is the day our amazing Kamila takes on her I’m Gonna Sky Dive challenge! 😱🙌

After having to postpone due to low cloud, we’re keeping everything crossed that the weather is on our side today! 🤞☁️

We are so incredibly proud of Kamila for taking on this amazing challenge and raising money for such a wonderful cause. ❤️

Today we celebrated our annual awards ceremony, recognising the amazing people who make such a difference every single day! 💙

A huge congratulations to everyone who received an award. We’re incredibly proud of all the achievements and dedication celebrated today. 🎉👏

A special mention to Philippa, who was a finalist for Nurse of the Year — an amazing achievement in itself! 🌟 And to Pete, celebrating an incredible 20 years of service. Thank you both for everything you do! 💐

A massive congratulations to Kamila, our winner of the Outstanding Leader Award! 🏆🥳 So well deserved!

Although not everyone took home a trophy, everyone was celebrated and recognised, and that’s what makes these occasions so special. Every contribution matters, and we’re proud of the wonderful people who make our team what it is. ❤️

Chocolate eeek! We got our chocolate fountain flowing and had a go at trying different chocolates with marshmallows and fresh fruit. 🍌🍓🍡

The wait is nearly over! 🎉 After her original skydive was cancelled due to low cloud, we’re delighted to announce that Kamila’s charity skydive has been rescheduled for Friday 16th October! 🤩

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated, shared our posts and shown their support so far. Your kindness means so much! ❤️

Now we’re keeping everything crossed for good weather so Kamila can take on this incredible challenge and make the jump! 🤞☀️🪂

🇫🇯❤️ Celebrating Fiji Independence Day at Avonbourne! ❤️🇫🇯

Today, we were lucky enough to welcome the incredible staff from Avon Court, who kindly came in on their day off to celebrate Fiji Independence Day with us! 🥰

Our amazing team prepared and brought in freshly cooked traditional Fijian food for everyone to enjoy, sharing a little piece of their culture with us all. 🍛😋

We are so grateful for their kindness, generosity and the time they gave up to make this celebration so special. It’s moments like these that bring us together, celebrate our differences and make our care home such a wonderful place to be. 🌍❤️
