What a busy but fun term!

As the school year comes to an end, we want to wish all our staff, families, children and chaplains a happy and restful summer.

It has been an emotional few weeks as we have said goodbye to our Year 6 pupils and their families, as well as to headteachers, teachers and teaching assistants who are moving on to new adventures.

We are also saying a very special goodbye to Megan and Harry, two of our amazing chaplains, as they leave The Bridge team. We are so grateful for all they have brought to our schools and communities, and they will be greatly missed.

Have a wonderful rest, enjoy lots of fun over the summer, and you will see The Bridge Team back in school from 8 September!

Celebration of Change for Year 6s!

Bridge chaplains across all the primary schools we serve have been busy delivering our Celebration of Change workshop in classes this summer term.

We have had the added pleasure to gift each child a PE bag ‘Hope Pack’ and a visit from an ice-cream van! Surrey ICES you have been amazing.. thanks to Elaine.

Good luck to all the Year 6’s and families- we will miss you!

We were able to do this because of our generous and faithful givers to The Bridge Project and also to these wonderful organisations who caught our vision: EVOTEC, Wilton Rotary - UK and Mark Newman from I Newman Funeral Directors.

Harry, with heavy hearts your team say goodbye to you today as you head off for new God adventures!

You have been such a blessing to us and to The Trafalgar School at Downton at Downton and Sarum Academy and we are so grateful to have be in team together.

We cheer you on and thank you for always bringing the joy and encouragement! As you said “once a chaplain always a chaplain” so we don’t say goodbye but see you again one day in the future!
