We at British APCO would like to thank Mladen Vratonjic for his work in the Critical Communications Sector, as he announces his retirement from his role as Chairman of the Board and Director of TCCA (The Critical Communications Association), after 11 years’ service.

It’s been wonderful to catch up with Mladen at TCCA Critical Communications World this week – and he has been a great advocate for our work here at British APCO over the years.

We look forward to continuing our relationship with him in his role as Vice-President of EENA 112 (The European Emergency Number Association), via the CC:IPS (Collaborative Coalition for International Public Safety).

Mladen is an invaluable part of our community and brings such a wealth of experience, including his time as Head of Telecommunications Directorate for the Serbian Ministry, where he was responsible for all telecommunication systems of the Serbian police and fire brigades, including the emergency call centres.

Mladen also spent several years as an expert for Geneva based DCAF (Democratic Control of Armed Forces) and as such, he founded and chaired the Western Balkans Telecommunications Committee for improvement of Cross-border cooperation.
