A fantastic evening at our annual Chamber Summer BBQ ☀️🍔

Over 40 people joined us last week for a relaxed evening of networking, conversation and great company.

This year’s BBQ was hosted in the grounds of The Rifles Berkshire and Wiltshire Museum, a fantastic venue in the heart of Salisbury.

Lawntech is proudly celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and, to mark the occasion, is aiming to raise an incredible £20,000 for Salisbury Hospice Charity.

As part of this fundraising challenge, Lawntech is hosting a Charity Quiz Night on 14th August at The White Hart. Guests can enjoy a fun-filled evening of quizzing, fantastic raffle prizes from places such as Longleat, Paulton’s Park, Center Parcs and many more, plus the chance to win a £200 cash prize. Our next Chamber Social takes place on Friday 31 July at The Ox Row Tavern.

Join us from 4.30pm onwards for a relaxed evening of informal networking with fellow local businesses.

There is no agenda and no formal structure. Just turn up, buy yourself a drink and enjoy good conversation with Chamber members, local professionals and new faces from across the Salisbury business community.

The event is free to attend and no booking is required.

A lovely morning at our first ‘Mindfulness in Nature’ outdoor networking session 🌿

Charley Miller from Wildlife & Wellbeing led us on a guided walk through the Avon Valley Nature Reserve and along the river, followed by a mindfulness session surrounded by nature.

It was a relaxed way to meet other local members, step away from the office and enjoy some time outdoors.

The feedback was brilliant, with everyone keen to see more sessions like this in the future. We’re now looking at making these a regular free event for Chamber members.

Cyber crime is one of the fastest-growing risks facing businesses of every size.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Wednesday 24th June 2026 for our Cyber Risks in Business workshop at TEN, Old Fire Station Enterprise Centre, hosted by Howden Insurance Brokers in Salisbury.

The session explored the cyber threats businesses are facing today, with a particular look at Cyber Essentials and the steps organisations can take to reduce their exposure.

We were also pleased to welcome Emma McDonald from The Silver Cloud Business, who shared insight from the perspective of a local IT solutions company.

Attendees then took part in an interactive cyber “escape room” activity, bringing some of the risks and decision-making scenarios to life in a practical way.

The session also covered crime statistics, including the shift from traditional physical crime to the rapid rise of cyber crime, before exploring why Cyber Insurance is often better seen as a service rather than a traditional policy.

From 24/7 incident response support to real-time threat alerts, the workshop gave businesses a better understanding of the support available before, during and after a cyber incident.

The morning finished with a Q&A, giving attendees the chance to ask questions and explore the topics in more detail.

This week, we’re spotlighting Howden Insurance Brokers in Salisbury, who are hosting our upcoming Cyber Risks in Business workshop at TEN, Old Fire Station Enterprise Centre.
