Friday and Saturday of this weekend 4 of our volunteers have been providing First Aid cover for Larmer Tree Live, dancing along to Abba and Oasis tribute bands.

Would you know what to do if a loved one or member of your community was unconscious and had stopped breathing?

You can now enroll on a three hour course at our training centre in Roman Road, Salisbury. It is only £25 and includes an attendance certificate.

You’ll find out about, and have a go at, some simple lifesaving techniques, including:

• Working out what is wrong
• Calling for help
• Recognising and responding to chest pain
• CPR and use of a defibrillator
• Controlling bleeding
• Treating choking
• Responding to Seizures

Our first Community Lifesaver course will run on Thursday 8th October, 6.30 – 9.30pm.
