Our vision is that everyone who becomes a parent feels confident, connected, and safe because we believe parents help build the foundations of the future. Every year NCT supports over 250,000 parents across the UK and Channel Islands on their unique journeys through pregnancy, birth, infant feeding, and early parenthood. We connect, inform and support parents through our antenatal and postnatal courses, peer support programmes, and community-based events. We provide access to evidence-based information through our website and free Infant Feeding Support Line 365-days a year. For 65 years we have created transformative change in the lives of parents, acting as a trusted voice, reassuring presence, and strong advocate. Four fun weekly sessions where you and your baby can explore stories and rhymes in creative ways. You will also receive a FREE goody bag and story books.

Our aims:

- Help you make your home a good learning environment
- Practice nursery rhymes together to build your bond with baby
- Build your confidence sharing stories
- Show you how to incorporate props
- Use mark making activities to help your growing baby develop and learn.

Free Workshop!

🔻 Join artist Emma Kerr, ‘Trial and Error’ for a free drop-in creative workshop inspired by the Drawing Together exhibition in Gallery 2, featuring a play space with Play Build Play from 2pm-3pm.

🔹Let’s make a vibrant studio together, an art space for all where we will celebrate our creativity. Activities will include patchwork pictures (collage), still life zone (drawing) and a stripy stuff option (mixed media). A play mat for sensory play will also be available from 2pm-3pm.

🔶 Suitable for adults, families and children of all ages. Please note children must be accompanied by their responsible adult throughout the workshop. We will be photographing the event and will have an opt out process in place.

Infection Prevention Week 2026 is coming up on 19-25 October 📣

This year’s theme is ‘Your baby, your boundaries’. Too many parents tell us they’ve felt awkward, embarrassed of even guilty for asking visitors to wash their hands or not to kiss their baby. This week, we’re reminding you that protecting your baby is never something you need to justify and is always the right call.

It’s okay to prioritise your baby’s wellbeing. Taking these steps doesn’t mean you’re being overprotective or overcautious – it means you’re following the latest advice to help keep your baby safe. You get to decide what’s best for your baby.

It's that time again.................

Wriggly Rhyme Time is back on Thursday 1st October 2026 .

The session begins at 2:15 and ends at 2:45.

This is a drop in session, no need to book and is suitable for active toddlers and preschoolers. This activity focuses on action songs and movement.

We look forward to seeing you soon. Make sure you wear your best wriggling shoes.
