Crafty Girls of Salisbury, UK Wonderful ladies who make fantastic things. All materials are donated, so 100% goes to Charity. So they made lots of goodies and sold them for charity.

At the beginning there were a couple of ladies wanting to use up crafty materials left over after their Girls Brigade group disbanded. The good people of Salisbury heard about this and started donating more materials, wool, toy stuffing, etc. Because everything is donated, 100% of the funds go to charity. More ladies joined to help with the great cause. Crafty Girls was born. The ladies got invited to host coffee mornings and sell crafty things at many venues in and around Salisbury. Then a local business Dauwalders of Salisbury, allowed them to advertise in the shop window and sell toys and crafty things in the window. Flash forward to August 2023, due to roadworks on the street which obscured the shop window, Crafty Girls started the page.

A huge well done to Crafty Girl Steph and honorary Crafty Boy Sandy for their fantastic fundraising efforts for the Stars Appeal! 🌟 From coffee and cake events to craft stalls, raffles and various other activities, they’ve raised an incredible £1,435.37 for this wonderful cause. What an amazing achievement, and a massive thank you to everyone who supported them! 👏

✈️🧶 We’ll be at Aerojumble ’26! 🧶✈️

The Crafty Girls will be joining the stalls at the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection’s Aerojumble ’26 this Saturday, with a selection of our handmade knitted and crocheted items available to buy. ❤️ All funds raised from our stall will be donated to the British Red Cross Disaster Fund to support people affected in Nepal.

Less than a week to go until our Aerojumble 2026 event, now in it's 14th year! We have a sell-out for stall holders this year which means there's even more aviation memorabilia, parts, equipment, art and flying clothing available for all our lovely visitors to peruse and purchase!

· Sale of Aviation and militaria items (aircraft parts, instruments, kits, models, books, uniforms you name it).
· Earlybirds access from 08:30.
· Earlybird tickets are available in advance and on the day and cost £15 including entrance to the museum.
· The public allowed access from 10:00am at our normal entry prices.
