Many thanks to all at STC (in collaboration with XR and the Wiltshire Climate Alliance) for organising a special, invitation only screening of the National Emergency Briefing at the Salisbury Guildhall on the 11th of June. They invited ourMP, leaders of all political parties, councillors, leaders of religious groups, community and environmental groups, business leaders, farmers and leaders in the services (although, as it turned out, our MP John Glen had a prior engagement.)

Lieutenant General Richard Nugee is part of the NEB's panel of experts and he joined us for the discussion afterwards. Many thanks also to the City Council for helping us cover the cost of hiring the Salisbury Guildhall.

🌳 Unofficial People in the Park after party! (Re)connect with amazing people doing great stuff for the environment and community in Salisbury.

🗣 No talks/presentations planned, just an informal gathering. Charley has a Speaker's Corner idea... If people want to share their updates, opportunities and/or requests for help, they can sign up to a slot on the evening. Elsewhere people can chat. No PowerPoints, no microphone. We'll see how it goes!
