BROAD CHALKE VILLAGE HALL - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The Hall is struggling right now and we are looking for volunteers to help us run this wonderful old building.

We need your help with maintaining the Hall, some light secretarial work, bookkeeping and helping us arrange events.

We don’t require much time (1-2 hours per week max), it’s currently a struggle with a small committee so any help you can give would be much appreciated.

Please contact Caroline Lamb [email protected] or Henry Flint [email protected]

Thank you

Our next film of the season is "And Then Come the Nightjars" on Wednesday 3 April 2024 with doors open at 7.00pm and curtain up at 7.30pm.

Tickets £6.00 on the door by cash or card.

Enjoy a film night at the Hall with our new high-definition LED projector, wide screen and surround sound.

We will have our usual delights including the bar, ice cream, chocolate and popcorn and new convector heaters!

This beautifully shot film tells the story of an unlikely friendship between a Devon farmer and the vet who is assigned to cull his precious herd. A heart-warming story of friendship and survival set against the backdrop of the 2001 Foot and Mouth outbreak. The film is adapted for the screen from Bea Roberts’ multi-award-winning stage play and is set on Dartmoor.

Join us for film night to watch a wonderful film with dry humour and drama to cheer us all after a damp winter.

Please note the final film night of the season is Wednesday 15 May 2024.

Many thanks, Broad Chalke Village Hall Committee
