So who paid for the new windows?
Well there are many income streams but here are two events that were held this year which helped fund the work.
The biggest contribution came from a day's Clay Pigeon Shooting! Brilliantly organised by Emma and Jason Reeves.
Then in August the Farley Live music event, a joint effort by all the Trustees!
If you are interested in helping to raise funds by attending events like these, then keep following for things happening in the New Year!

Windows Update!
No, not that sort!
After a fantastic effort by the Salisbury Cathedral glass workshop and local carpenters Chris and Russell, the first three refurbished windows are finally installed in The Wardenry.

"It's so good that we have managed to repair the windows without taking the frames out of the brickwork and breaking up the interior panelling. We have also been able to make good the lime mortar - an essential part of this historic building, which now completes the the refurbishment of the ground floor rear windows"

Nick Phillips - local chartered architect and historic buildings specialist.
We are very fortunate to have Nick on the board of trustees.

next time......how do we pay for all this?

Blue skies and bright sunshine welcomed worshippers to All Saint's Farley yesterday for the service of rededication for the Trustees of Farley Hospital!
Over 30 people came to The Wardenry afterwards to see the work on the windows and to enjoy much cake with coffee.
Huge thanks to Warden Michelle supported by James, members of the board and all the cake makers. If you missed yesterday's service, there's always next year!
Great news - the back porch has been completely renovated and looks sparkling in the autumn sun!

Quick reminder! Service of Rededication at All Saint's Farley 11.00 2nd November! Plus coffee and cake in The Wardenry afterwards!

You will have a chance to inspect the fantastic work being carried out by Salisbury Cathedral Glass Workshop, ably assisted by local craftsman Chris. Having been carefully removed, the frames rebuilt and site prepared, the original 350 year old lead light windows will be returned next week! The whole project overseen by local architect and board member Nick Phillips.

This has only been made possible by amazing fund-raising efforts during the year, we'll be sharing that with you in the future! So keep following and please share far and wide! Thank you.
