This funding will help us to:
· Train WI members to become No More Violence Ambassadors.
· Develop new educational resources and campaign materials.
· Increase understanding of domestic abuse, including coercive control and other non-physical forms of abuse.
· Equip members with the confidence to speak about violence against women in their communities.
· Support members to organise awareness events, talks and local activities.
· Encourage community action during the UN's 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.

2. Attivo and the Women’s Institute announce new partnership putting women at the heart of financial planning -
From 14 September 2026, Independent Financial Planning firm Attivo will be the exclusive financial partner of the Women’s Institute - one of the UK’s most trusted and largest women-led communities, bringing women together for over a century.
In the UK, trillions of pounds is expected to pass between generations of women over the coming decades, and currently too many face those decisions without a plan. In the UK, £5.5 trillion is expected to pass between generations over the next 30 years, with women set to inherit a significant share of that wealth. Yet many are making these important financial decisions without a plan in place, with 4 in 10 women inheriting wealth without any financial plan at all.
