The partnership and working relationship we have with , Salisbury City Council and Salisbury City Communities really helps us know what we are doing is the right thing.

Are they perfect? NO
Are they trying? YES
Are they improving? YES
Are they willing to learn? YES
Are they willing to listen? YES

Although we work with mainly management (Asa, Matt & Jay) we have spent a long time building those relationships with some Cllrs (there choice to not be part of helping the disabled community of Salisbury).

We are also looking for other local businesses who want to go that 1 step further with accessibility.
20% of our community have a disability whether visible or invisible, imagine adding up to 20% extra to your taking.

We are grateful to @ who has allowed us to use The Spitfire Kitchen in Warner House every Wednesday from 10am-12pm starting from 16th September 2026.

Please share as we want to spread the word that these exist.

**We're Looking for a New Chair of Trustees**

Disability Interest Group Salisbury (DIGS) is seeking an exceptional individual to become the next **Chair of our Board of Trustees**.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the governance of a growing charity that is making a real difference to disabled people and their families.

We're looking for someone who:

* Has experience of working within the charity sector, particularly at trustee or board level.
* Is focused, organised and able to provide strategic leadership.
* Is trustworthy, honest and committed to good governance.
* Is passionate about improving the lives of disabled people and creating more inclusive communities.
* Can work collaboratively with our CEO, trustees and volunteers while supporting the long-term vision of DIGS.

If you have the skills, experience and enthusiasm to help shape the future of our charity, we would love to hear from you.

**A New Chapter for DIGS**

Today we'd like to share an update with our community.

Following their decision to step down, our Chair of Trustees has resigned from the Board of Disability Interest Group Salisbury (DIGS).

We would like to sincerely thank them for the time, commitment and support they have given to DIGS during their time as Chair. We wish them every success in the future.

As we continue to grow, this now presents an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about accessibility, inclusion and making a real difference in the lives of disabled people to help shape the future of our charity.

Over the coming weeks we will be recruiting a new Chair of Trustees to lead our Board and support the strategic direction of DIGS as we continue to expand our services and campaigns across Salisbury and beyond.

A self propelled wheelchair that can also be used as electric.

The person selling this is asking £500 and it is located in Amesbury.
