During this period of extreme heat we are asking visitors to the churchyard not to leave any glass, mirrors or other reflective items on graves as they can become a fire risk while the ground is so dry. There have been reports of fires in churchyards fairy locally that are believed to have started in this way.

We want to make sure we are doing everything we can to protect Holy Trinity therefore have removed some vases from the churchyard and temporarily placed them inside the church for safekeeping.

Thank you for your understanding; we will hopefully be back to normal very soon ☔️

Holy Trinity's summer art exhibition is open today and tomorrow afternoon, 2.30 - 5.30pm. Talented local artist Diana Cotter is inspired by nature: she has made over 1,000 beautiful paper flowers! Very child friendly and free entry plus parking in the lane outside 🌺🪷🌼

Our popular Open Gardens event is back on Sunday 14th June, 1pm - 5pm. Begin at Watersmeet, Bugmore Lane - ample parking on the village green nearby. Maps £5pp, children free. End at New Gatmore with tea and homemade cake. All in aid of Save Our Church 🌹🌼🌺

The sun shone and the Pimm’s flowed at Holy Trinity on Thursday evening for SOC’s annual summer drinks party to thank its supporters.

Steve Ferrari talked through the finances and explained the need for continued support to keep the church open. Rev Marcia thanked everyone for their combined effort and presented some new ideas for future services.
