We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry.

That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people across Salford who are referred to us in crisis.

We've all been there, money comes in and goes straight back out. Even with universal credit top ups, pay isn't enough to cover the essentials, forcing people to the doors of food banks.

It doesn't have to be this way.

Our foodbank relies on hundreds of local supporters who generously give time, food and money to ensure we can continue the fight against poverty. We are so grateful for every tin, pack, jar and bottle donated. If you cannot reach us to donate food, would you consider giving to us financially?

At our Emanuel Centre tomorrow morning, as well as our usual services, there will also be a Mobile Advice Centre to offer help and support to those that need it.

We are desperately short of carrier bags at the moment!

Every food parcel comes in two carrier bags to make it as easy as possible to carry home.

Please donate any unwanted good quality bags - donations can be dropped off at our warehouse at 4 Kansas Avenue, Salford, M50 2GL. We're open weekdays 9am until 3pm. Or donations can be dropped at donation points at most large supermarkets across Salford.

Every donation makes a huge difference to families in our community. You can drop off donations at all the big supermarkets in Salford or straight to our warehouse at 4 Kansas Avenue, M50 2GL.

We are incredibly grateful to this amazing team from St. James's Place for helping us in the warehouse this week. They brought some great donations, picked up donations from local collection points and packed lots of food parcels ready to be delivered to our centres.

Thanks to Navigator Tissue UK for this giant donation of toilet roll which filled our van. 2,880 rolls in total which will fill our food parcels for the next 13 weeks! 💚
