Friends of Ordsall Park Friends of Ordsall Park are a group of local residents who are passionate about green spaces.

With support from the local council, we aim to offer a wide range of activities to encourage more people to connect with nature and to take ownership of the park

For Salford 100 Years Centenary we set target for 100 litter bags collected with 15 collected just today. Only 2 bags from park though the rest collected from streets surrounding park. Thanks to Carol Davies Andy Salter Eddie Haworth and Brendan Keville for attending today. Park looking great again!

Lovely in the sunshine in Ordsall Park today, looking even better after the litter pick. 10 bags collected today but majority of rubbish now being collected is from adjacent streets near park entrance so still work do! Thanks Eddie Haworth, Les, Jim, Tanya Burch, Councillor Brendan Keville - Ordsall for help today. Join us for the next litter pick 11am 2nd Saturday each month.
