Visit from the Stork Visit from the Stork supports families to have a better quality of life. Registered Charity No1205513

We support parents and families on their journey from pregnancy right through to school age. We have a range of family support services;
- Stork Support - delivering baby essentials to those in need, plus sign posting to relevant agencies for housing, debt, benefits and other family support information.
- B***S and B***S in Bury - Information, education and peer support for parents breastfeeding

and wishing to breastfeed.
- That Toy Thing - a toy hire service saving parents money on toys.
- Coming soon - The Stork Store - great deals on baby items and toys to raise money for our free services.

Ever wondered what prep our team do for our Stay and Play events? We're running a messy play session tomorrow so here's Kim and Kerry getting all our stuff ready (in Kim's kitchen!). It was a bit of a learning experience- we'll see how the hand-whisked Aquafaba turns out tomorrow!!

We're doing some blue sky thinking recently and realised that if every one of our 2.3k followers donated just £5 each month we could do so so much for the families we support across Greater Manchester.

From hiring our hall for a full year, getting our equipment out to families quicker to expanding our hubs into more areas so that more families can collect their baby essentials nearer to where they live, just £5 a month with our audience would make such a difference.

Did you know at our hub we have LOTS of free items available including school uniform and coats? We keep our rail maintained with donations - and have plenty currently for families to come and take if they need!

We also have rails at Eccles Gateway and Little Hulton Family Hub.

Lots of school uniform available - just come to the Emmanuel centre on Langworthy Road!

Thanks to our call out a few weeks ago, another pram has gone out to a family this week via their Health Visitor! The pram will get mum and baby out and about instead of being stuck inside during this lovely weather 🙌

All parents need professionals like this who really care and are part of their village ❤️

We've still got some tickets left for our Beach Day ⛱️ on Wednesday next week (12th August!)

We're being joined by our friends Tinytots Vision Ltd and there'll be so much fun 😁

Expect:
⛱️💧 Sand and Water play for children 0-8 years (and big children - parents - who like to build sandcastles)

🐟🍟 Fish and chips for both children AND adults (veggie option also available)

🗨 Bubbles 🫧 and Glitter Tattoos and outdoor games ⚽️

All in the garden at Emmanuel Centre Langworthy from 10.30am.
