What a brilliant day we had yesterday.

Paul Dennett, Rebecca Long Bailey and Yasmin Qureshi MP all pledged their commitment to support the Greater Manchester Living Income Campaign. We’ve been involved in this work since attending the launch event in May 2025, and it means a great deal to us that our City Mayor and two of our MPs are standing behind it.

A huge thank you as well to Paul Dennett for coming in to see us on Thursday. Our community members really valued the chance to speak with him directly about the initiative and why they feel it is so important. Their voices and lived experiences are at the heart of this work, and it meant a lot that Paul took the time to listen.

We’re now looking forward to bringing together a group of Salford organisations to help ensure this initiative is trialled here in Greater Manchester. We’re confident it has the potential to make a huge difference to people’s lives and deliver some truly transformative results.

Today we received a fantastic donation from the team at Bidvest Noonan Security, MediaCityUK, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Many people don't realise that extreme hot weather can be just as dangerous as freezing temperatures for those who are most vulnerable.

As a charity, our funding is limited, which means we can't always provide the essential items needed to help people stay safe during periods of high temperatures.

That's why this donation is so special. The team have provided backpacks filled with items designed to help people stay protected from the sun and hydrated in the heat. I

t's a thoughtful and practical idea that will make a real difference to members of our community.

A huge thank you to everyone involved at Bidvest Noonan for your kindness, generosity and support. It is massively appreciated and will have a positive impact on the people we support 😊
