Well, that’s a wrap! 🎉
We’ve had another AMAZING weekend at We Invented The Weekend.
A HUGE thank you to the team at Quays Culture for organising such a fantastic festival
Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Navvies Garden, watched a puppet show, and/or made their own puppet. iI was brilliant to have so many people join us.
A massive thank you to our wonderful volunteers, and to Craig, Daisy and Mai-An for all their hard work
Special shoutout to Joe for creating and performing a fab puppet show, all weekend. The show featured Kevin the crocodile, who got lost and swam to the Quays and met the Queen of Pendleton 😂 🐊 👑
To Sally and Yas for not only working but for donning the Punch & Judy costumes and joining the parade.
It was also brilliant to be with other local Third Sector partners Emmaus Salford , Talk About It Mate, Jak’s World Charity, The Lowry connectors, Salford Community Leisure, Recreate-U, African Rainbow Family and the Salford CVS and Volunteer Centre Salford team and volunteers.
Now… time to start planning what we’ll bring to the next one 🤔
