What does culture mean to you?

Our friends at Divided Culture Co. have been asking this question to young people in Salford, with some amazing responses.

The results can be seen in a fabulous installation that will be taking over our library spaces in the next few months and we invite you to share what culture means to you.

You can find the piece at:

📚Walkden Library from Monday 10th August – Monday 7th September
✨Swinton Library from Monday 7th September – Monday 5th October
📚Eccles Library from Monday 5th October – Monday 2nd November
✨Pendleton Library from Monday 2nd November – Monday 30th November

The Thursday Culture Club is back this week with a fantastic evening with Eve, one of our Library Development Officers. She will be hosting a museum label writing workshop, inspired by objects from the handling collection and her work at Salford Museum and Art Gallery

We’d love to see some more local faces, so please do pop by if this sounds like something you might like to try.
