🌿 STORIES OF PLACE: CREATIVITY, NATURE & THE LIVING LANDSCAPE 🍂✨
Every landscape has a story to tell.
Join us at the beautiful Laudato Si’ Centre at Wardley Hall for a FREE creative day exploring the stories held within the landscape through nature, observation, art and words.
This is a chance to slow down, look a little closer and discover the colours, textures, plants, sounds and small details that make this place what it is.
During the day you’ll:
🌿 Take a gentle wander through the woodland and gardens, collecting observations and curiosities🍃 Create beautiful botanical plaster castings using leaves, grasses and plants🎨 Experiment with gel plate nature printing, capturing natural patterns, shapes and textures✍️ Gather around the fire for Woodland Words, using what you’ve noticed to inspire poetry, reflections, sketches or creative writing🔥 Enjoy time together in the woodland and explore how nature, people and place create our living heritage
You don’t need to be an artist, writer or nature expert. There’s no right or wrong way to take part — just come along, get curious, make something and experience the landscape in your own way.
📅 Wednesday 14th October 2026⏰ 10am–2pm📍 Laudato Si’ Centre, Wardley Hall Road, Worsley, M28 2ND🎟️ FREE – booking required
