Autism as the tip of the iceberg.
Thanks Autistic Girls Network

Autism rarely travels alone.

For a lot of autistic people, being autistic is just one part of a much bigger picture, ADHD, anxiety, joint hypermobility, sensory differences, sleep difficulties, and more, all showing up alongside it.

We put together this graphic because so many families tell us they had no idea some of these differences were connected until years after diagnosis.

Did you know The Lowry have made this access hub?
I have not seen it in real life, just sharing someone else's post but it looks great to me.

Saw this in the The Lowry today. Lots of knowledgeable staff on hand, not too busy, and plenty to see and do.
Bumped into some families whilst we were out too.

For anyone that hasn't been to the Lowry before, its definitely worth a visit.
Also, for anyone watching a show, carers tickets are available too.

Sorry for the short notice sky watchers.
Heaton Park Astronomy Group are hosting a viewing - they will have specialist equipment available to ensure you can view the eclipse safely.

Wherever you view the eclipse please, please be safe. Never look directly at the sun, even when it is hidden by the moon. use special eclipse glasses, or if you don't have any use a pinhole device.

There are lots of websites and YouTube videos about how to make a pinhole device - I'm sharing NASA's - just because.
