Our FREE Kids Healthy Holidays Club is back at Langworthy Cornerstone!

Children aged 4–14 years who are eligible for free school meals can enjoy a summer packed with exciting activities, including:

🥪 FREE Breakfast, Lunch & Healthy Snacks

Call for Volunteers!

Summer Children's Holiday Club Volunteers:

Be part of creating unforgettable summer memories for children in our community!

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to support our Summer Kids Holiday Programme at Langworthy Cornerstone this July. You will help deliver fun, safe, and engaging holiday activities for children aged 4–14 as part of our Healthy Holidays Club.

If you enjoy working with children, being part of a team, and helping create fun, safe, and welcoming experiences, we would love to hear from you

- DBS check required (We can support this)
- Safeguarding qualification (We can support this)
- Available to support Monday–Friday, 9:30am–3:30pm (flexible timing also considered)
- Transport reimbursement
- Lunch will be provided
etc

Other Volunteer roles available:
2) Reception/Front desk volunteer (Thurs/Fridays 10am - 3.30pm)
3) Befriending Volunteer.

🥪🌯 Healthy choices, creative minds and lots of fun! 👩‍🍳✨

Yesterday’s session of our Kids Healthy Cooking Club was full of smiles, teamwork and tasty creations as our young chefs got hands-on making their own delicious sandwiches and wraps. 🥬🍅

From choosing ingredients to building their own combinations, the session was a great way to learn about healthy eating, confidence in the kitchen, and the joy of making food together. 💚

Well done to all our budding chefs, we can’t wait to see what they create next! 🌟

Investing in skills that help keep our community safe. 💙

A big thank you to Lucy from Nemo First Aid for delivering First Aid Training to the Langworthy Cornerstone team on Monday.

From responding to emergencies and learning lifesaving CPR techniques to building confidence in supporting others, the session provided valuable practical knowledge that will help our staff, volunteers, and visitors alike

We discovered we are quite good at first aid and even better at delivering Oscar-worthy performances as casualties while practising recovery positions! 😂
