It's that time of the month again , and we still have a few spaces left!

But this is not just any month. This week we are celebrating 150 years of Seedley Park, and all the wonderful people who have walked alongside us on the Growing Togetherness CIC journey. Some are sadly no longer with us, yet their presence remains woven through our gardens — in the trees they planted, the laughter they shared, and the happy memories they helped create.

Thanks to the various groups who have collaborated to make our little corner of the park so special to so many people.

| KNIFE AMNESTY'S

Good morning residents,

We wanted to make you aware that Operation Sceptre will be taking place this week, from Monday 18th May to Sunday 24th May, with a focus on tackling knife crime.

As part of this, we have organised several knife amnesty events within the communities , providing a safe and anonymous way for anyone to dispose of knives and help keep our streets safer.

PCSO Singh 71375 and PC Payne 4387 we be present awaiting your disposals.

If you are aware of someone carrying a knife, you can report information anonymously via Fearless – you won’t need to provide any personal details.

There is also a wide range of help and support available on the Fearless website if you’re concerned about knife crime or need advice.

And just like the the waggon train is a rolling !

Thank you to everyone who brought so much positive energy to the site yesterday, we finally finished around midnight but what an an amazing day to be part of.

The temperance bar was a resounding success! Thanks to the dedicated hard work of Marlon and the ladies a big shout out to dancing Laura for keeping the tea and coffee flowing.

And to the amazing events team for working hard to cleaning the site down in the pitch dark 🦉🦇🦇

You can try out the train at the next stop today Ordsall Park and Albert Park on Monday.
