YES YOU ARE READING THIS RIGHT !!🤩

We are so excited to announce we will be opening a new location, very soon too.
We have been hard at work behind the scenes setting up a new venue to be home to our charity’s ambitions.

As you will know, a few months back, we moved from our Salford Quays location due to reconstruction. Not only has this given us time to open somewhere new, but it’s given us time to work on what we offer 🤩

More on this soon……

We’ve missed you, we’ve missed getting creative with you all, BUT we’re back 🥳 and we’re buzzing.

Watch this space……………see you soon.

“Old Roots, New shoots”

Whose Art? Whose Culture?

Yesterday we had our opening day for our exhibition, And to say it was a success is an understatement. Thank you to each and every single person who walked through our theatre doors to experience our efforts and to celebrate the stories.

We are now on day two of the exhibition, which is also our final day. Be sure to come by and see it whilst you can.

We’ve worked hand-in-hand with the local community to tell stories that are often unheard, but deeply felt. This isn’t just an exhibition — it’s identity, heritage, and lived experience on the walls.

Want to come and witness it for yourself?

Old Roots, New Shoots
Opening from tomorrow — for two days only.

Rooted in Salford, this exhibition grows from lived experience.
Over 50 young people share their voices, creativity, and truths.
Three families open their histories — memories carried, stories passed down, lives shaped across generations.

Created hand-in-hand with the local community, these works hold stories often unheard, yet deeply felt.
This is more than an exhibition.
It is identity, heritage, and belonging on the walls.

Funded by the UK Government, with support from Salford CVS and Salford City Council.

This exhibition is only here for two days — come and witness it for yourself.

At Innit for Young People, keeping our young people safe is at the heart of everything we do 💛

That commitment applies in every situation — including working at height while rigging our amazing Innit Studio Theatre and preparing our gallery for upcoming exhibitions.

Here’s our CEO, Micky, completing IPAF training 👏 We’re proud to say we’re now fully up to standard with Health & Safety regulations.

We’re dedicated to giving our young people every opportunity we possibly can — and that means ensuring a safe, supportive working environment for young people, staff, and volunteers alike.

Safety first. Opportunity always.

🏆✨ We did it! We’re absolutely over the moon to announce that our charity has been crowned the Winner of the Salford Business Awards – Community Award 2025! 💛

Representing us on the night were our amazing CEO Micky, two of our dedicated trustees Shirley and Dave, and one of our incredible young volunteers — the perfect team to accept this wonderful honour.

This award is a celebration for our whole organisation and service users — every volunteer, artist, supporter, and friend who helps us make a difference every day. We can’t wait to proudly display our beautiful trophy in our charity’s home! 🏠💫

Big shoutout to Jon at The Business Group and Charlotte at Argyle.
