Dear Parent Carers,
We need your voice to help improve SEND services in Salford!

Every year, Salford Parent Carer Forum (SalfordPCF) gathers the views and lived experiences of families through our Annual SEND Survey. Your feedback helps us understand what is working well, where families are struggling and what needs to change.

Why is your feedback important?
We use the information you share to:
➡️Highlight the challenges families face and celebrate what works well.
➡️Identify gaps in support and areas for improvement.
➡️Share parent-carer experiences with Salford Council, health, education and other SEND services.
➡️Influence decisions, shape service improvements and strengthen co-production.

We work alongside services to make sure parent-carer voices are heard and used to influence decisions. By sharing our collective experiences, we can help decision-makers better understand the realities of family life and what needs to improve.

We are continuing our work with Contact - For families with disabled children and will be attending an Early Years SEND workshop that will focus on supporting bilingual children and families. During the session we will also be joined by colleagues from Speech and Language UK, who will be sharing their expertise and insights.
This session is open to Parent Carers as well as professionals and is free to attend.

Come and meet SIASS (Salford Information Advice & Support Service, here what the do, how youy can get support, and what your childs rights are when it comes to their education.
This is an opportunity to ask questions and hear more about what the team do to support families.
It is a really informal session, feel free to join, keep cameras on or off, or put questions in the chat. If you want you eamil us your questions, we can make sure they get answered.
