WELLBEING SESSION - SOUNDHEALING WITH REIKI

Our next sound bath session for next week is live. Places are limited so booking is essential. These sessions are FREE to our members but we do ask that if you are unable to attend, please cancel your place so we can offer it to another carer.

We will be guided by the wonderful Linda from Hope Holistics on a evening of mindfullness and relaxation to improve wellbeing and reduce stress.

Dear Parent/Carer,

I hope you are well.

We are asking if you and your child would be willing to take part in a video recording. The recording would be used to help train professionals who work with children and young people.

We are especially interested in hearing from children and young people whose autistic traits may be less obvious to other people. For example, they may be doing well at school but still have difficulties that are not always noticed or understood. These videos will help professionals learn about the different ways autism can present, especially in children and young people who do not have a learning disability. This will help us improve how we identify and support neurodivergent children and young people.

If you and your child decide to take part:

The recording will take place at a time and place that works for you.
Taking part is completely your choice.
The recording will only be used for training and workforce development.
The recording will be stored securely and only viewed by authorised professionals.
You can ask questions and talk through any concerns before deciding.
You can change your mind and withdraw your consent at any time before the recording is used in training.
We understand that being video recorded is a personal choice, and there is no pressure to take part. If you choose to support this project, you will be helping professionals better understand and support autistic children and young people.

If you would like more information or would be interested in taking part, please contact Dawn Fenton at [email protected].

Thank you for taking the time to read this and consider our request.
