This Hospice Care Week, we're sharing the voices behind the statistics.

Every day, hospice care provides comfort, reassurance and compassion to local people facing some of life's most difficult moments. From specialist care and home visits to bereavement support and volunteer services, we're here for patients and families when they need us most.

The impact of hospice care can't be measured by numbers alone. It's found in the words of those we've supported, the memories shared, and the comfort of knowing someone is there when it matters most.

Because hospice care shouldn't be left to chance.💙

Walking for our Dads

In June, Elodie completed an inspiring 90-mile walking challenge in memory of her dad, who was cared for by the hospice and raised an incredible £1075.00

On the 15th June Elodie was joined by Linda for a special walk, Walking for our dads. It also marked Linda’s father’s 91st birthday and was their way of honouring their fathers and supporting the hospice’s vital work.

Miles of Love for Pauline

A huge thank you to Alison, Garry and Lucy Burgess who, together with Kiera Chapman, took on a 20-mile walk from Beachy Head to Hastings Old Town in memory of Garry and Lucy’s mum, Pauline. It was a tough challenge, but their determination and team spirit kept them going every step of the way.

Thank you to everyone who supported them and helped raise an incredible £2499 for our Hospice.

You are amazing!

Over the last year, we've cared for more people than ever before across Hastings and Rother through specialist palliative care, home visits, bereavement services, volunteer support and community groups.
From the 1,760 people who received specialist care, to the hundreds supported through bereavement services and volunteer-led programmes, every statistic represents someone receiving compassionate care when they need it most.

But these aren't just numbers. They're moments of comfort, reassurance and connection for people facing some of life's toughest challenges.
This Hospice Care Week, help us raise awareness of the vital, free care, available across Hastings and Rother.

Because hospice care shouldn't be left to chance.
